Full-Time Clinical Nurse - Labor & Delivery

About the Role

Provides direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care according to established standards. Promotes patient-centered care, educates families on illness management and post-treatment needs, and participates in safety, quality, and professional development activities.

Responsibilities

• Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs, addressing patient preferences and barriers to involvement.
• Ensures effective communication across the continuum of care.
• Contributes to a safe, healing environment and maintains compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications: Active RN license.
• Experience: No experience required; less than 2 years preferred.
• Safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe work practices.
