Full-Time RN - Labor and Delivery

About the role

Deliver safe, high-quality care to laboring patients from admission through post-delivery, including vaginal and C-section births, fetal monitoring, anesthesia care, and newborn care during the first two hours of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive labor and delivery care
• Monitor fetal health
• Manage anesthesia
• Oversee postpartum and neonatal care
• Ensure patient safety and well-being throughout the delivery process

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current TX RN license or multi-state compact license
• BLS certification
• ACLS and NRP within 3 months of hire
• Minimum 2 years of recent labor and delivery experience
• BSN required within 24 months if hired after 6/1/12

Qualifications

• Certification in fetal monitoring (AWHONN) preferred
