Full-Time RN Labor and Delivery

About the Role

The RN Labor and Delivery is responsible for providing safe, high-quality care to laboring patients from admission through post-delivery. The role offers opportunities to advance nursing practice, improve patient outcomes, and work with state-of-the-art technology in a comprehensive healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage vaginal and C-section births
• Perform fetal monitoring
• Provide anesthesia care
• Deliver care during PACU and newborn initial hours
• Ensure patient safety and positive outcomes

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Valid TX RN license or multi-state license
• BLS certification
• ACLS and NRP within 3 months of hire
• Recent Labor and Delivery experience
• BSN preferred within 24 months if hired after 6/1/12
• Completion of AWHONN fetal monitoring courses if not already certified

• Expertise in labor and delivery procedures
