About the Role

Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced PACU environment, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on post-treatment management and medication use.
• Participates in activities supporting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across the care continuum.
• Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
• Maintains safety and alertness as a safety-sensitive position.

Requirements

• Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree; Bachelor's preferred.
• Licensure: Valid RN license.
• Experience: Less than 2 years preferred; critical care or Phase I PACU experience is a plus.
