Full-Time Clinical Assistants
About the role
IVI RMA North America is seeking 2 Full-time Clinical Assistants for their Morristown, NJ clinic. The positions involve working Monday-Friday in Basking Ridge, with rotating on-call weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Auxiliary to physicians in clinical procedures
- Adherence to established protocols for all procedures
- Execution of phlebotomy techniques
- Accurate documentation of ultrasound measurements, provider comments, and appropriate stim templates
- Cleaning and restocking examination and procedure rooms
- Maintaining clinical supplies inventory
- Collection and processing of specimens for in-house and external laboratories
- Management of Lanfax for external laboratory reports and results
- Entry of results and communication with the provider team
- Providing patients with information about upcoming procedures and offering reassurance and comfort
Requirements
- Completion of a Certified Medical Assistant Program – preferred
- Studies in Nursing/Healthcare Assistant – preferred
- Completion of a Phlebotomy Program – preferred
- 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice
- Prior experience in women’s healthcare – preferred
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
