About the role

Join our rehabilitation team as a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Charlevoix, MI and help patients regain independence, improve function, and reach their therapy goals in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an OT
• Assist patients with ADLs, strength, coordination, and functional independence
• Follow individualized treatment plans
• Document treatments and patient progress
• Communicate with the OT and interdisciplinary care team
• Participate in patient-centered care and discharge planning

Requirements

• Current Michigan COTA license/certification
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Previous SNF experience preferred but not required
