Responsibilities

• Assist licensed therapists in providing occupational therapy services to residents.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
• Document progress notes and maintain accurate resident records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans.
• Provide education and training to residents and their families on activities of daily living.
• Ensure all services are provided in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• At least one year of recent full-time work experience as a COTA.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with residents and families.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.

Pay
