Tennessee State Veterans Home in Murfreesboro, TN, invites you to join our dynamic therapy team as a Full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients' functional abilities and developing individualized treatment plans
• Implementing occupational therapy interventions to improve daily living skills
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions

Requirements

• A current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• A minimum of one year of recent full-time work experience as a COTA
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
• Experience working with veterans and/or individuals with disabilities

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications
