Responsibilities
- Assist licensed occupational therapists in providing individualized treatment plans to residents
- Conduct assessments to evaluate residents’ functional abilities and develop appropriate treatment goals
- Implement therapeutic activities to improve residents’ daily living skills and quality of life
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans
- Document progress notes and maintain accurate resident records
Requirements
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- At least one year of recent full-time professional experience as a COTA
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
