Full-Time Caregiver Needed in Lehigh Acres

About the role

Description Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities
• Aiding with personal hygiene tasks
• Meal preparation and light cleaning
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment
• Facilitating community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointments
• Promoting communication, choice, independence, and socialization
• Completing daily progress notes

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Be 18 years of age or older

Benefits

• The role pays $15.00 hourly
• Schedule: Monday to Friday from 6:45am-4:45pm and Saturdays Flexible from 7am-7pm
