Job Title: Caregiver Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM Schedule: 4-5 shifts every week with alternating weekends Employment Type: Full time Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to join our team for the overnight shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) every other weekend. The ideal candidate is attentive, patient, and committed to providing high-quality care while ensuring the safety, comfort, and dignity of our residents during nighttime hours. This role is essential in maintaining a calm, secure, and supportive environment while residents rest. Key Responsibilities Provide direct care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including toileting, incontinence care, repositioning, and mobility supportConduct routine safety checks and wellness rounds throughout the nightRespond promptly to call lights, alarms, and resident needsMonitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns to the nurse or supervisorAssist with medication reminders (if permitted by state regulations and training)Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care providedEnsure a clean, safe, and organized environmentSupport morning wake-up routines as needed at the end of shiftMaintain confidentiality and uphold residents’ rights at all times Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent requiredCaregiving experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care preferredCNA certification preferred if no experience Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong communication and observation skillsCompassionate, patient, and dependable demeanorAbility to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to lift and transfer residents according to facility policyAbility to respond quickly in emergency situations If you are a caring professional who thrives in a quiet, focused overnight setting and is committed to providing exceptional resident care, we encourage you to apply.
