Full Time Bakery Fryer

Cub Lakeville West off Kenwood Trail is seeking a dedicated individual for a full-time Bakery Fryer position. This role involves frying, icing, wrapping, stocking, and providing customer service support to ensure a positive shopping experience and meet daily sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and wrap bakery products
• Stock, rotate, and face bakery products
• Perform department clean-up duties
• Assist with department merchandising as directed
• Respond to customer questions or requests

Requirements

• Operate equipment such as shrink wrap machines, label machines, bread slicers, knives, and bakery racks
• Able to walk long distances and stand for extended periods
• Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate customer service with ongoing customer interaction
• Exercise good judgment, especially when direct supervision may not be immediately available
• Follow verbal or demonstrated instructions, write identifying information, and request supplies verbally or in writing
• Work shifts of varying lengths and times, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Physical Requirements

• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, turning, and repetitive motions
• Extended exposure to varied temperatures and wet surfaces

Schedule

• 40 hours per week with a varied schedule
• Early morning hours with start times between 2am and 4am

Pay

UNFI anticipates paying a competitive pay rate for this position, with actual pay dependent on factors such as education, experience, training, and applicable collective bargaining agreements.
