About the Role

As the Assistant Store Manager at Pacsun, you will support the Store Manager in leading a customer-focused, sales-driven, and profitable store location. You will inspire and motivate the team by exhibiting core value behaviors, ensuring the execution of the store's KPIs, and holding employees accountable to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Display a customer-focused mindset and ensure all team members deliver an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience.
• Handle customer situations in compliance with policy, aiming to "solve for yes" and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment to maximize the customer experience.
• Share customer feedback with the leadership team to improve overall experience.
• Act as floor supervisor during non-peak periods (e.g., breaks).
• Hold yourself and others accountable for operational tasks and performance.
• Coach and provide feedback on Sales Associates' performance.
• Recognize and reward outstanding performance to support associate engagement.
• Provide direction to associates on company directives and standards.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks to meet operational needs.
• Support and execute visual directives while maintaining company standards.
• Drive efficiency in store processes, including merchandise flow and presentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized stockroom and store environment.
• Ensure all associates follow policies, procedures, and safety practices.
• Reflect the Pacsun brand by demonstrating passion for product, brands, fashion, and trends.
• Inspire and motivate others by consistently exhibiting core value behaviors.

Requirements

• Passion for product, brands, fashion, and trends.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Proficiency in math and computer skills.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
• Frequently sit, stand, or climb ladders for long periods.
• Regularly talk, hear, sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach, twist, or squat.
• Maneuver around sales floor, stockroom, and office areas.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
• Travel by hotel, airplane, or car may be required for Store Manager roles and above.

Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring 32-40 hours per week. Flexibility is needed to work weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods.

Pay

$22–$24 per hour.
