Full Time Assistant Manager - North County Mall

Responsibilities

• Aid the Chief Workshop Manager in assigning daily tasks to associates and overseeing their work.
• Support hiring and promotion decisions, offering feedback and making recommendations.
• Lead and motivate your team during shifts, enforcing policies and standards.
• Identify and report any policy violations to the Chief Workshop Manager or District Manager.
• Implement disciplinary actions and provide corrective measures when necessary.
• Drive sales as the Floor Leader, coaching Bear Builders and fostering a Guest experience.
• Ensure merchandising displays comply with brand standards and enhance the store environment.
• Exercise judgment in resolving issues and maintaining operational efficiency.
• Manage inventory processes, including receiving, stocking, and conducting counts.
• Build and develop a high-performing team that consistently delivers an exceptional Guest experience.

Requirements

• Two years of store management experience, with a proven track record in a customer-centric business, preferably in specialty retail.
• A high school diploma, with a basic understanding of common store technology solutions.
• Two to four years of store management experience, with a similar background in a customer-centric business, preferably in specialty retail.
• An associate’s or higher degree in business, management, or a related field.

Working Environment

• Ability to work a typical retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Active retail store management requires the ability to sit, stand, and move around for at least eight hours a day.
• Work environments include indoor/outdoor malls, strip centers, and other retail locations.
• Lift up to 25 pounds.

Pay Range

$21.00-$22.50/Hour
