Full-Time Assistant Manager - LOCATION, MN $16.50/hr

About the role

We are hiring an Assistant Manager to assist the Store Manager with the successful day-to-day operations of the thrift store. You will work with Sales Associates and Volunteers to transform community donations of gently-used clothing and household goods into funding for our core social programs. Assistant Managers provide support in guiding, training, and directing store employees and volunteers, and participate in all aspects of thrift store operations. Your work helps create a safety net of essential services in your community.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support store employees and volunteers
• Train and direct staff in daily operations
• Assist with customer purchases and merchandising at the front of the store
• Collect, sort, and price donated goods in the back of the store
• Problem-solve and overcome operational obstacles
• Participate in all aspects of thrift store operations

Pay

Starting wage: $16.50 per hour (non-exempt).

Schedule

Operating hours: Monday - Friday 9AM to 7PM, Saturdays 9AM to 6PM, and Sundays 11AM to 5PM, with rotating weekend shifts and shorter holiday hours.
