Full Time Armed Security Officer: (ACT-235 Required) - York PA

Job Summary

In this role, Physical Security Officers (PSO’s) can expect to be working in demanding and fast-paced environments. PSO’s may find themselves working in a wide range of areas such as medical centers, government facilities, hospitality venues, and public events. Additionally, PSOs may be asked to work with a firearm. The PSOs' mission is to protect all people, information, and property assigned, while delivering on high-end customer service. PSOs represent the front line of our security services.

Job Duties / Essential Functions

• Delivering high-end customer service
• Responding to emergencies
• Deterring and preventing crime
• Performing ingress/egress control procedures
• Investigating incidents
• Completing daily logs and incident reports
• Conducting regular walking or vehicle patrols
• Building and maintaining a professional rapport with clients, guests, and co-workers
• De-escalating conflicts
• Monitoring CCTV cameras
• Performing other related duties as assigned

Skills / Qualifications

• ACT 235 (current)
• 21 years of age
• Current and valid DL
• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years of armed security experience required
• Must be able to pass Physical Agility Test and Armed Security Officer course
• Must be able to pass drug screen
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening, and OPS training requirements
• Ability to work under stress / pressure
• Ability to lift 25 pounds
• Ability to wear a uniform
• Ability to pass Physical Agility Test (PAT)
