Responsibilities
- Oversee cardiac anesthesia services at McAllen Heart Hospital
- Handle cardiac case mix including open hearts, CABGs (90%+ on pump), valves, vascular, and thoracic
- Manage call position with competitive cardiac call stipends
- Perform additional cases including general and urology, with potential need for regionals for post-op pain management
- No transplants or pediatric hearts
Pay
- $775,000 compensation package
- $100,000 sign-on bonus
Schedule
- 36-week contract
- 16 weeks time off
