About the role
Vantor is seeking multiple Full Stack Software Development Engineers of varying experience and seniority. You will work on an integrated team to build innovative software using mathematical solutions to support users in the defense and intelligence communities. Vantor is a leader in the field of signal and image processing. This team is building innovative software using mathematical solutions to support users in the defense and intelligence communities. Vantor's products and services contribute to missions in support of national security, provide expertise used in the latest app technology, support efforts for the health and sustainability of our planet.
Responsibilities
- Work on an integrated team to build innovative software using mathematical solutions to support users in the defense and intelligence communities.
- Develop containerized micro-services.
- Develop Front end Web applications.
- Develop Backend services that use API’s or a message bus to communicate.
- Use software engineering tools (i.e., Git/Subversion, IDE).
- Implement Design Patterns.
- Participate in Agile development process and tools.
- Participate in Continuous Integration and Continuous Development pipelines (CI-CD Pipelines).
- Work in a geographically dispersed, collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- Must be a US citizen with a current TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering or related STEM field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Experiences with any of the following: Java, C++, Python, Vue.js, React, Kafka or similar, Git, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Bash, Linux.
- Experience developing containerized micro-services.
- Experience Developing Front end Web applications.
- Experience Developing Backend services that use API’s or a message bus to communicate.
- Experience with software engineering tools (i.e., Git/Subversion, IDE).
- Familiarity with the Agile development process and tools.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Development pipelines (CI-CD Pipelines).
- Ability to work in a geographically dispersed, collaborative team environment.

Pay
- Starting pay for this role will fall within the listed range and will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions.
- The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $82,000.00 - $109,000.00 - $119,900.00 annually.
- The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 - $132,000.00 annually.
- For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
