Full Stack Software Engineer - Payments

For our client, we are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer - Payments to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This role will help shape the payment experience behind a modern digital media platform, with a focus on building reliable, high-performing systems that support subscriptions and creator payouts. The engineer will own initiatives from concept through implementation, balancing product quality, technical rigor, and rapid experimentation. This position will work closely with product, engineering, and payment processor partners to improve conversion, testing, and the overall subscriber experience. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $140,000 – $260,000 annually Responsibilities Develop core payment surfaces and backend systems for the platform Own projects from concept to implementation, ensuring high-quality solutions Engage in experimentation and measurement of product features Collaborate with payment processors such as Stripe Participate in building new payout systems and A/B testing subscribe flows Qualifications 3+ years of software engineering experience in web applications Strong product sense and intuition Ability to work independently and autonomously Passionate about innovative business models for the internet Familiarity with TypeScript, Node/Express, React, and Postgres is a plus Benefits Market competitive salary Equity for all full-time roles Exceptional benefits package Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
