Full Stack Software Engineer (Partial Telework)
Job Description
GliaCell is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.
Key Requirements
- Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance. (This position requires in-scope poly, within 7 years)
- U.S. Citizenship
- 7+ years Software Engineering experience and a BS degree in Computer Science or related
- Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
- Works well independently as well as on a team
- Strong communication skills
Key Skills
- Seeking a strong full-stack software developer with functional UI experience but primarily focused on backend web services and servers
- Experience with open-source integrations would be great and any experience with open-source tools is required - i.e. AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, Rancher, Tomcat, Spring, JMS and AWSS
- Strong communication skills are needed
- Tech stack areas of experience/understanding would be: Critical: Java threading, SpringBoot, JavaScript, JMS, MongoDB, AWS, Amazon RDS, REST, Docker, Kubernetes, ElasticSearch, Cockroach DB or other RDBMS at similar scale, COOP, Large scale distributed systems with high availability
- Desired: Kibana, Alfresco, Content Management tools, Node, Svelt, React, and Angular, Confluence, Jira, Maven, Git
Location
Annapolis Junction, Maryland (Partial Telework of 16 hours per week is expected)
Salary Range
The salary range for this full-time position is $115,000 to $190,000. Our salary ranges are determined by position, level, skills, professional experience, relevant education and certifications. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for this position across our projects. Within the range, your salary is determined by your individual benefits package selection.
