Hyperbound is a YC S23-backed startup that recently raised a $15M Series A to build the first Revenue Activation Platform. As an agentic OS for sales, Hyperbound closes the loop between coaching and execution for industry leaders including IBM, LinkedIn, Bloomberg, Notion, Vanta, and Monday.com.
About the role
Join Hyperbound as a Full-Stack Software Engineer in San Francisco to build the future of agentic sales. Working directly with engineer-founders, you will develop mission-critical features using a modern TypeScript stack including Next.js, NestJS, and AWS. This high-intensity role involves building real AI components that directly drive multi-million dollar enterprise contracts.
Why this role is remarkable
- Join a high-growth YC S23 startup that recently closed a $15M Series A, 5x'd its ARR in the last year, and is growing 20% month-over-month.
- Work in a purely engineer-driven culture where the founders are developers and the team consists of former founders who prioritize technical excellence and rapid shipping.
- Experience massive impact where your code is demoed to 20,000 sales reps or serves as the primary reason a customer signs an $800k contract.
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy full-stack applications and agentic systems across the stack using Next.js/React, Node.js/NestJS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and TypeScript.
- Support and scale AWS infrastructure, deployment strategies, and CI/CD pipelines to handle rapid growth and high-concurrency enterprise demands.
- Integrate and optimize LLM APIs and agent frameworks to transform how sales organizations operate and change the structure of customer revenue teams.
Requirements
- Possesses deep full-stack capability within a modern TypeScript environment and has a proven track record of shipping production-grade code to enterprise users.
- Brings previous early-stage startup experience or a founder's mentality, having built something from zero or deliberately chosen high-growth, high-stakes environments.
- Demonstrates practical experience building with AI/LLM APIs and agent frameworks, moving beyond theoretical knowledge to deliver functional, value-driving product features.
