About the role
We are actively recruiting a full stack staff software engineer to help the fastest growing e-commerce startup scale and bring operations to the next level. You will be reporting directly to our Head of Engineering and work very closely with our CTO. Your mission will include understanding all aspects of our logistics, supply chain, and operations and building, improving and maintaining the tools that our team uses daily to perform critical duties at the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Understand and optimize our logistics, supply chain, and operations processes
- Build, improve, and maintain tools used by the team to perform critical duties
- Ensure the tools are of the highest quality and meet the needs of the business
- Operate tools before they are handed off to other team members to ensure smooth transitions
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience inventing and building all aspects of complex software systems, preferably with appreciable experience in the manufacturing / logistics / fulfillment industries
- High agency and ability to solve problems independently
- Passion for building and maintaining software for teams within the company
- Comfortable starting projects without complete guidance and making decisions based on available data
Qualifications
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and services
- Strong knowledge of software design patterns and principles
- Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in software development
