Full Stack Engineer (Java / Spring Boot / React)

Job Summary We are seeking a senior Full Stack Engineer to join a dynamic development team in Jersey City, NJ. In this role, you will be instrumental in building high-performing, scalable applications, implementing RESTful APIs, and developing responsive user interfaces. You will work alongside cross-functional team members in an Agile setup to drive business workflow automation and quality software delivery. location: Jersey City, New Jersey job type: Contract salary: $40 - 45 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors Responsibilities Design and implement microservices and back-end logic using Java and Spring Boot.Build interactive, user-friendly frontend interfaces using React.Create and automate workflow solutions with Camunda.Implement UI automated tests (Cypress) and execute system performance tests (JMeter).Collaborate within Agile sprints to continuously optimize application reliability and scaling. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Engineering. 8+ years of strong, hands-on development experience in Java and Spring Boot. Proven experience developing web frontends with React. Hands-on expertise building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices. Must be local to Jersey City, NJ and available to work 100% on-site. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure). Familiarity with Linux/Unix system environments and commands. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
