Full Stack Engineer (Java/React)

About the role

Focus on developing low-latency real-time backend applications. Work within a high-performing team to design, develop, and maintain critical software solutions for equity markets and collaborate across global teams to deliver innovative market technology. This role is hybrid with onsite work in either New York City or Denver, CO.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, test, and maintain software applications
• Participate in the full software development life cycle from planning to coding and testing
• Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into software solutions
• Provide production support and maintain comprehensive documentation
• Serve as technical expert in design meetings and code reviews

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Java software engineering experience
• Strong SQL, RESTful API, Spring, and Spring Boot expertise
• Proficient with Maven and Git build tools
• Experience with Java frameworks such as Keycloak and Open Search
• Knowledge of JSON, microservices, and RESTful web services
• CI/CD pipeline experience
• Web security skills including SAML, encryption, certificates, and attack protection
• JUnit and automated testing with test-driven development
• Awareness and application of DevOps and Agile principles
• Proficiency with Linux commands and Bash scripting
