Full Stack Engineer (Enterprise)

Roboflow · United States · 2 mo ago
RemoteRemoteEngineering$165k–$195k/yrFull-time

About the Role

As a member of the Enterprise team, you'll be tasked with creating new features and making improvements anywhere in the Roboflow product. We're looking for technical generalists that aren't afraid to dive into a new stack or toolchain if the need arises. You will also help support and make improvements to our enterprise Jetson inference pipeline, so a solid foundation in Linux is highly desirable.

The Enterprise team forms close relationships with Enterprise customers to deeply understand their needs and advance their usage and success with Roboflow. You should expect to frequently be on-site with customers, doing factory tours, and building features needed to make prospective and current customers successful in Computer Vision with Roboflow.

As a member of the Enterprise team, you will also partner closely with the Field Engineering team—not only to understand and expand partnerships with customers, but to identify opportunities to make the Field Engineers more efficient in collecting visual data and delivering insights to customers based on that data.

What You'll Do

  • Build new features and make improvements across the Roboflow product
  • Support and improve the enterprise Jetson inference pipeline
  • Work on core product features spanning the end-to-end pipeline for building computer vision projects (image ingestion to annotation to training and deployment)
  • Occasionally work on integrating marketing and sales tools, fighting fires, automating internal processes, and open source projects
  • Advocate for which projects should be highest priority
  • Contribute to increasing engagement and success of enterprise customers

Example Projects

  • Adding video recording and analysis tools to the Roboflow SaaS application, so that Field Engineers can quickly and efficiently collect and understand customer data
  • Streamlining the setup of new devices or inspections in the Roboflow application
  • Adding a new workflow block to allow customers to send visual insights to Power BI or Tableau
  • Adding new capabilities for edge device management such as GPS coordinate visualization

Who You'll Work With

Our team of ~120 attracts talent like executives that wanted to return to building, founders with a 100M+ exit, Roboflow users turned team members, open source contributors, a cyclist who biked across the United States, prolific high school hackers, a CTO from 100+ engineering organization, amongst many exceptional others. You will directly be working with our Enterprise Lead and a team of Full Stack Engineers.

Requirements

  • Technical generalist comfortable diving into new stacks and toolchains
  • Solid foundation in Linux (for enterprise Jetson inference pipeline support)
  • Experience with JavaScript and Node.js (majority of existing codebase)
  • Willingness to frequently travel on-site with customers, including factory tours
  • Excited to learn new skill sets as needed
  • Comfortable working in a high-autonomy environment with a founder mindset
  • Able to thrive without a rigid, multi-month roadmap of spelled-out tasks

Technical Environment

  • Majority of codebase: JavaScript and Node.js
  • Machine learning and image processing pipeline: Python
  • Primary infrastructure: Firebase and GCS
  • Machine learning infrastructure: AWS
  • Increasing use of Docker (internally and for customer-facing products like edge inference server)
  • Code runs in browser (including TensorFlow JS)
  • Building APIs and client libraries in several languages

Where You'll Work

Roboflow is distributed across the US and Europe with Hubs in New York City and San Francisco (with plans to open more). You can work from a Hub (relocation bonus offered), from home, at co-working spaces, or wherever you work best. The team provides opportunities like team onsites in different cities and a $4,000/yr travel stipend to work in person with other team members as much as you'd like, while also supporting remote team members.

Schedule & Travel

Roboflow primarily operates during US daytime hours with some synchronous meetings each week, alongside a flexible schedule for collaborative and asynchronous work. This role requires travel: in addition to two required team meetups, you will travel to be on-site with customers 1-2 times per quarter.

Compensation

The target compensation for this role is $165,000–$195,000 base, commensurate with experience. Salaries are reviewed every six months to stay in line with the market.

Benefits

  • $4,000/yr Travel Stipend to travel anywhere anytime to work alongside other Roboflowers
  • $350/mo Productivity stipend for high-speed internet, co-working space, or other work environment needs
  • $350/mo AI Tools stipend
  • $150/mo team lunch stipend
  • $500 one-time home office stipend
  • Up to 100% of health insurance costs covered for you and your partner or family
  • Equity in the company
