Full Stack Engineer
About the role
Turbo AI turns anything you upload into bite‑sized lessons that make learning fast and actually fun. In this role you will ship a feature in the morning and watch tens of thousands of people use it that afternoon. Engineers own features end‑to‑end: identifying the problem, brainstorming solutions, implementing, monitoring user analytics, and deciding what iterations to make. The focus is on judgment, communication, and business impact rather than just code output.
Why Turbo Engineering?
We give engineers real ownership of features that reach a large audience, without the overhead of product managers, spec handoffs, or lengthy planning cycles. You’ll work on a small team with a million‑plus monthly users, making decisions that directly affect product success. Success here means quickly delivering value, iterating based on data, and clearly communicating why you’re building (or not building) something.
How we work
We continuously optimize for solutions that capture 20 % of the effort for 80 % of the value before committing extensive engineering resources. If a solution can be built in 200 lines with existing tools, we ship it—even if it isn’t perfectly elegant and may need rework later. Shipping something 80 % right today beats a perfect solution next month. This pragmatic mindset drives our daily decisions.
