Full Stack Engineer

About the role

We are hiring exceptional Full Stack Engineers with a backend focus and a strong product engineering mindset. You will work directly with the founding team to design, develop, and ship features that support the company’s financial infrastructure and AI-driven product vision. This is a hands-on role with ownership over projects from concept to deployment.

Core Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and deploy full stack solutions with a focus on backend systems
• Collaborate directly with leadership to define and deliver product requirements
• Own projects from 0–1, ensuring scalability, security, and performance
• Work closely with the engineering team to improve system architecture and processes
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3–9 years of full stack or backend engineering experience (exceptional new grads considered)
• Proven experience taking products from concept to launch (0–1 experience)
• Strong problem-solving skills and architectural thinking
• Ability to work 60–70+ hours/week in-person in NYC
• Highly ambitious with excellent communication skills
• Experience at an early-stage, high-growth startup
• Hands-on engineer who turns ideas into results
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform)
• Strong fluency in JavaScript / TypeScript, Node.js / Express
• Extensive experience designing schemas for SQL databases
• High ownership mentality and a do-what-it-takes approach

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building products, systems, or businesses from 0–1
• Ex-founders, startup operators, or others with demonstrated resilience and ownership
• Experience in fintech (FP&A systems, credit cards, bill pay, business banking, etc.)
