About the role
Joining Intuitive Surgical means joining a team dedicated to using technology to benefit patients by improving surgical efficacy and decreasing surgical invasiveness, with patient safety as our highest priority.
Design, enhance and maintain internal websites, web applications and stand-alone Python applications. Full stack capability is required. You will design and implement both the front-end user interface and back-end application and database.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement front-end user interfaces using FastAPI and Vue 3
- Develop and maintain back-end applications and databases in Red Hat Linux and Microsoft SQL Server environments
- Drive migration toward cloud-based solutions such as AWS, Azure, and Snowflake
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering
- 3+ years of industry experience as a full stack web developer
- Expert in Object Oriented Python, JavaScript, node.js, SQL
- Test-driven development experience
- Full stack front-end and back-end web application development experience
- Application architecture design experience
- Proficiency with HTML5, CSS, jQuery, Ajax, Flask, FastAPI, Vue.js
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL databases
- Working knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, WebSocket, sockets
- Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Snowflake
- Git version control
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Technical writing for project proposals, documentation, and tests
