Full Stack Engineer

Build the next era of spatial commerce, at the intersection of artificial intelligence, 3D visualization and e-commerce. Department Engineering Location New York City Work Setting On-Site Job Type Full-Time Seniority Level Mid-Level About The Role You will build and own features across the InHouse platform—from resident-facing interfaces to backend services, internal tools, and workflow logic that supports our visualization engine. This is a hands-on role where you’ll ship end-to-end functionality, improve existing systems, and collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Ops to evolve the product. You’ll work across a wide range of surfaces, contributing to everything from UI updates and data models to debugging, reliability improvements, and new feature development as we bring engineering fully in-house. What You'll Do Build and maintain features in React/TypeScript across our resident shopping experienceImplement backend API endpoints, data models, and integrations using Node/Python + Postgres/SupabaseDeliver end-to-end functionality, ensuring correctness, performance, and usabilityCollaborate with Product and Design to ship experiments and improve conversion, activation, and retention metricsImprove developer workflows, deployment automation, and testing coverageParticipate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team-wide engineering practicesContribute to documentation and help extend internal tools that support our visualization engine What You Need Strong proficiency in React + TypeScriptExperience building backend APIs in Node, Python, or a similar languageSolid understanding of PostgreSQL / SQL, data modeling, and API contractsFamiliarity with testing, CI/CD, and modern development workflowsAbility to independently deliver features and improve existing systemsStrong product intuition and comfort working with designers and PMs Nice to Have Familiarity with e-commerce, cart/checkout flows, or marketplace systemsExposure to ML-assisted products, LLM-based features, or model integrationsCuriosity about 3D/visualization workflows Benefits Base salary + bonusEquity potentialHealth benefitsPrime SoHo office Other InHouse is an equal opportunity employer.
