About the role
HoundDog is a venture capital funded B2B SaaS company in the Fintech/InsurTech space. We help businesses streamline the insurance tracking and vendor onboarding process by automating what is typically a manual process, saving our clients significant time and hassle. We are looking for resilient, articulate, talented individuals to join our dynamic team and help us scale with new sales.
Responsibilities
- Participating and leading daily standups
- Collaborating across projects to help with product integration
- Assisting with front-end development
- Contributing to back-end development
Requirements
- 2+ years of software development experience
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment
- Fast learner and capable of adapting to new situations
- Strong coding, debugging, algorithm design, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in Ruby, Python, and Node.js
- Experience with AWS or other cloud computing services
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
- Experience with one of the following: GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts
