About the role
Join our full stack engineering team at Hotplate, a startup transforming the food industry. As a full stack engineer, you'll build features that directly impact thousands of chefs' and bakers' businesses.
Responsibilities
- Build scalable systems and infrastructure to handle ticketmaster-style food drops
- Create powerful features for chefs to manage and grow their businesses
- Design and develop consumer-facing storefronts and buying experiences
- Work on a range of projects from ideation to execution
- Collaborate with designers and other engineers to deliver clean, intuitive UX experiences
- Own and execute features independently, scaling up as the company grows
Requirements
- Extremely comfortable working full stack
- A high bar for delivering clean, intuitive UX experiences
- A love for designing products and features from scratch
- Experience taking projects from 0 to 1 independently
- Comfortable with our stack: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node, Express, PostgreSQL, AWS
- 3+ years of product-focused, full-stack engineering experience
Qualifications
- US citizen or visa only
- Experience in early to mid-stage startups
- Strong technical skills in full stack development
