Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Confidential Client is seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer to work at the intersection of software engineering, venture capital, and AI.

Responsibilities

• Design and build internal platforms — proprietary sourcing tools, CRM systems, portfolio management apps, and AI-driven workflows.
• Partner with investment professionals to evaluate emerging technologies and perform technical diligence on prospective investments.
• Rapidly prototype and deploy features that improve how teams source opportunities, assess companies, and support portfolio businesses.
• Build AI-driven tools and automation to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate directly with founders and engineering leaders to solve technical challenges and surface exceptional talent.
• Maintain production systems using modern cloud infrastructure and best practices for reliability and security.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Experience building production-grade applications on modern cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• Solid engineering fundamentals: APIs, data modeling, testing, CI/CD, and observability.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a bias toward action.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable engaging technical founders and senior business leaders.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent demonstrated technical excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building AI-powered products, developer tools, or internal platforms.
• Public GitHub projects, open-source contributions, or a portfolio of personal software projects.
• Familiarity with machine learning tooling, MLOps patterns, or generative AI integrations.
• Interest or experience in startups, venture capital, and early-stage technology evaluation.
