Full Stack Engineer

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

• Build, test, and enhance tools that attribute drivers of portfolio positions, returns, and risk.
• Develop front-end components using TypeScript and React, focusing on component design, state management, and performance optimization for data-heavy views.
• Design and implement backend systems using Python, Ray, and databases for scalable, high-performance data processing.
• Implement cloud-ready, modular, and extensible solutions and optimize software systems for performance, scalability, and cloud deployment.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, quants, and engineers to align tools with investment workflows.
• Optimize and unify reporting across multiple geographies and strategies, including exception-based management reports.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4-6 years of full-stack development experience, including work on production systems.
• Deep expertise in Front-End Development (60% initial focus): Strong skills in TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and React.
• Deep expertise in Python (40% focus): Strong backend engineering skills using Python, including API design and experience with databases.
• Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team.
• Ability to work as an effective team player and self-starter, willing to roll up their sleeves to help accomplish team goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
