Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable web applications that include front-end and back-end development.
- Design, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure using AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) to ensure high performance and availability.
- Integrate with IoT devices, third-party services, and external databases to ensure seamless data flow.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to build intuitive interfaces that provide actionable insights to utility operators.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for secure communication between the platform, devices, and external applications.
- Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect sensitive utility data, complying with best practices and regulatory standards.
- Work closely with product managers, other engineers, and QA to develop cohesive solutions that address customer needs.
- Drive Agile development by leading Scrum ceremonies and fostering team collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience with full stack development (front-end frameworks like React/Angular and back-end languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js).
- Proficiency and experience in managing cloud infrastructure, especially AWS.
- Proficiency and experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of AWS tools and services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudFormation).
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident based in the United States.
Skills
- Experience with full stack development (front-end frameworks like React/Angular and back-end languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure management, especially AWS.
- Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of AWS tools and services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudFormation).
