Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain scalable web applications that include front-end and back-end development.
  • Design, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure using AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) to ensure high performance and availability.
  • Integrate with IoT devices, third-party services, and external databases to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI teams to build intuitive interfaces that provide actionable insights to utility operators.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for secure communication between the platform, devices, and external applications.
  • Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect sensitive utility data, complying with best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Work closely with product managers, other engineers, and QA to develop cohesive solutions that address customer needs.
  • Drive Agile development by leading Scrum ceremonies and fostering team collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with full stack development (front-end frameworks like React/Angular and back-end languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js).
  • Proficiency and experience in managing cloud infrastructure, especially AWS.
  • Proficiency and experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS tools and services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudFormation).

Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident based in the United States.

Skills

  • Experience with full stack development (front-end frameworks like React/Angular and back-end languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js).
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure management, especially AWS.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of AWS tools and services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudFormation).
