Full Service Technician

Brief Description

The Full-Service Technician is responsible for reconditioning, reassembly, and testing of three-phase pad mount transformers. Compliance with all safety requirements, product quality standards and company policies are essential functions of this role.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow work order instructions to ensure transformers are rebuilt to customer specifications.
• Gather necessary parts and tools for the work order and ensure they are in good working condition.
• Recondition and reassemble padmount transformers, including cleaning and inspecting components, replacing gaskets, changing oil, and performing basic repairs.
• Perform quality checks and basic testing on units before they leave the workstation.
• Utilize shop equipment and tools safely and appropriately.
• Return equipment to proper location once usage is complete.
• May utilize overhead crane and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly workstation.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

• Experience with electrical and mechanical areas, required.
• Transformer work history, preferred.
• A cooperative attitude towards all internal and external customers.
• Helps team members resolve questions and assist with workload.
• Dependable and strong work ethic; works safely.
• Professional language and conduct at all times.
• Ability to learn other areas sufficient to fill in where required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, required. GED acceptable.

Skills

• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

Salary range: $XX - $YY per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm.
