About the role

TAPS Fish House & Brewery and Greenleaf Kitchen, both located inside John Wayne Airport, are seeking experienced Full-Time Line Cooks.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare menu items to recipe specifications
  • Execute multiple stations during service
  • Maintain food safety standards
  • Work alongside a talented BOH team to deliver an exceptional guest experience

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent line cook experience in a full-service restaurant
  • Hands-on experience working grill, sauté, and fry stations during busy meal periods
  • Able to cook multiple menu items simultaneously while maintaining quality, consistency, and ticket times
  • Strong understanding of proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices
  • Experience following recipes, portion standards, and plating specifications
  • Able to set up, stock, and break down stations for service
  • Works efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen
  • Takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized workstation throughout each shift
  • Dependable with excellent attendance and a strong work ethic

  • Must be able to pass a required 10-year airport background check

Qualifications

  • Experience limited to fast food, quick-service restaurants, convenience stores, or cafeterias does not meet the experience requirements for this role
