Responsibilities
- Support all RCM sub-teams as directed by Sr. Director of RCM
- Confirm patient insurance verification and eligibility
- Evaluate insurance contracts to determine patient financial liability
- Pull medical records as needed
- Post manual/electronic payments and adjustments in EMR system
- Assist with ad hoc RCM projects as assigned
- Help with follow-up and denial team overflow
- Review claims for coding, documentation, and billing
- Correspond with patients to establish payment plans on large balances
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; Associate’s degree preferred
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a healthcare or insurance company setting
- Experience with insurance verification and benefit sharing preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
Pay
Hourly compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 depending on experience
