Responsibilities

• Support all Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) sub-teams as directed by Sr. Director of RCM.
• Confirm patient insurance verification and eligibility.
• Evaluate insurance contracts to determine patient financial liability.
• Pull medical records as needed.
• Post manual/electronic payments and adjustments in the EMR system.
• Assist with ad hoc RCM projects as assigned.
• Help with follow-up and denial team overflow.
• Review claims for coding, documentation, and billing.
• Correspond with patients to establish payment plans on large balances.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a healthcare or insurance company setting.
• Experience with insurance verification and benefit sharing preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.

Pay

Hourly compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 depending on experience.
