Full Revenue Cycle Specialist

About the Role
The Full Revenue Cycle Specialist is responsible for supporting all teams within the revenue cycle including, but not limited to, eligibility, payment posting, insurance follow-up, and denial appeals.
Responsibilities
- Support all RCM sub-teams as directed by Sr. Director of RCM
- Confirm patient insurance verification and eligibility
- Evaluate insurance contracts in place to determine patient financial liability
- Pull medical records as needed
- Post manual/electronic payments and adjustments in EMR system
- Responsible for ad hoc RCM projects as assigned
- Assist with follow-up and denial team overflow
- Review claims for coding, documentation, and billing
- Correspond with patients to establish payment plans on large balances
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; Associates degree preferred
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a healthcare or insurance company setting
- Experience with insurance verification and benefit sharing preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required

Pay
Hourly Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 depending on experience
