About the role
The FLC Technical Recruiter drives full-cycle hiring for hardware engineering roles within a fast-moving product organization. You will own the entire recruiting lifecycle end-to-end—from intake to offer—while partnering closely with hardware engineering leaders, cross-functional partners, and technical program managers across Product, Engineering, and Operations. This role requires deep technical fluency, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to hire for niche, high-impact hardware roles in a rapidly evolving environment.
Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Ownership — Lead intake, calibration, sourcing strategy, screening, interview loop design, debrief facilitation, and offer negotiation for hardware engineering roles.
- Technical Sourcing Strategy — Build targeted pipelines for Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, RF, Audio, Silicon, Reliability, Systems Architecture, and Hardware Validation roles.
- Stakeholder Partnership — Influence hiring managers using funnel data, market insights, and calibration feedback; set expectations around timelines and candidate quality.
- Candidate Assessment — Conduct technical screens to evaluate hardware fundamentals, product experience, design ownership, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Pipeline Health & Reporting — Track funnel metrics, diversity representation, and pipeline velocity using ATS/CRM tools.
- Diversity Hiring — Build inclusive sourcing strategies and partner with ERGs to expand representation in hardware engineering pipelines.
- Candidate Experience — Deliver a high-touch, transparent experience from first contact through offer acceptance.
- Process Optimization — Identify opportunities to streamline interview loops, reduce friction, and improve hiring velocity across engineering teams.

- Electrical Engineers (EE) — board design, power, sensors
- Mechanical Engineers (ME) — enclosure design, DFM, thermal
- RF Engineers — antenna design, wireless performance
- Audio Engineers — mic arrays, DSP, acoustics
- Silicon/ASIC Engineers — SoC integration, low-power design
- Reliability/Test Engineers — validation, failure analysis
- Systems Engineers — cross-discipline hardware architecture
- Hardware TPMs — cross-functional program execution
Requirements
- 3–7+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience.
- Experience hiring hardware, electrical, mechanical, or embedded engineering talent.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, HireEZ, Boolean search, GitHub).
- Experience using ATS/CRM systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience hiring for consumer electronics, IoT, embedded systems, or high-volume hardware product teams.
- Ability to assess technical depth across EE/ME/RF/Audio/Silicon domains.
- Experience influencing senior engineering leaders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret funnel data and adjust strategy.
- Familiarity with hardware product development lifecycles.
