Full-Cycle Accountant
Job Summary
We are seeking a Full-Cycle Accountant to manage our accounting process from transaction entry to financial reporting. This role will report to the Director of Finance and is responsible for all aspects of accounting including invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end close processes.
Essential Functions
- Perform journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Manage time and attendance and process weekly payroll
- Develop and maintain actionable reporting
- Review and finalize customer invoices and credit memos
- Process vendor invoices and authorize checks and wire transfers
- Manage accounts receivable and cash receipts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations
- Review, improve, and document accounting procedures
- Adhere to and monitor compliance with internal controls
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting or similar accounting roles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel (e.g. filtering, pivot tables)
- Experienced in navigating Accounting and HRIS software
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Proficient in QuickBooks
- Experience with Paylocity HRIS software
Physical Requirements & Conditions
- Ability to sit at a desk or computer for extended periods of time
- Ability to move about the office and factory with occasional lifting, bending and reaching
- Ability to dial, hear and respond to telephone calls and inquiries as necessary
- Ability to communicate effectively, visually and verbally with internal and external contacts
- Meet requirements of daily attendance on job for a full, continuous work schedule
- Hours: Full-time position, Exempt
- On-site: Monday – Friday, regular business hours
