Currently, we are seeking a qualified Accountant to be an integral part of the Anderson Main Office accounting, finance, and tax teams.
Responsibilities
- Perform accounting and reporting for multiple entities, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, accounts payable, and financial statement preparation
- Aid with basic tax compliance and preparation, support entity-level filings with various tax types, and tax payment processing
- Cook up and monitor multi-state administrative filings for numerous entities
- Maintain fixed asset records and related reporting
- Support and provide financial analysis as needed for special projects
- Effectively and collaboratively offer solutions to challenges, resolve problems, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and meeting expected deadlines
- Crosstrain in related positions to contribute to a collaborative team environment
- Exercise discretion with sensitive and confidential information

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 2–5 years progressive accounting experience, with public accounting experience a plus
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite of products (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Working experience with QuickBooks and Thomson Reuters Fixed Assets CS a plus
- Strong fundamental understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
- Demonstrated organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Professional demeanor, with ability to work both independently and in a team environment
