We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join a growing company in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. This on-site role blends hands-on accounting ownership with office coordination and support for company leadership.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations across payables, receivables, ledger activity, and account reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely financial processing.
- Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation while preparing reports and schedules for internal review.
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures, ensuring accounts are reconciled and reporting is completed on schedule.
- Support budgeting, cash planning, and financial forecasting by compiling data and monitoring business performance trends.
- Work closely with external accounting partners during tax preparation and annual reporting activities, and complete required filings such as sales tax and 1099 documentation.
- Process payroll accurately, monitor payroll-related records, and help ensure compliance with applicable tax requirements.
- Administer accounting details tied to employee expenses, commissions, benefits documentation, and company asset tracking.
- Provide administrative support to leadership by coordinating schedules, preparing meeting materials, and assisting with business communications.
- Guide office and accounting staff, while helping strengthen procedures and improve day-to-day workflow efficiency across departments.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in full-charge bookkeeping or a closely related accounting position.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the complete accounting cycle with a high level of accuracy and accountability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to organize, analyze, and report financial data effectively.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Prior experience overseeing staff is preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
