About the role

The Fulfillment Specialist at the Central Fulfillment Center is responsible for working in a closed-door, fast-paced pharmacy production line, processing and shipping prescription orders. Under the supervision of the PIC/Group Supervisor, you will receive inventory, scan, sort, manifest, and ship prescription orders using automated equipment and conveyor systems. This role is based in Ridgefield, WA.

Responsibilities

  • Follow and promote proper Pharmacy, general safety, and security procedures.
  • Assist with preparation of intra-facility transfers (completed prescription orders) for delivery to stores.
  • Maintain automated production lines, inspect/prepare packages, sort, and apply manifest information to prescription orders.
  • Organize totes on pallets to prepare for shipment and work with transportation partners to ship completed totes to stores.
  • Assist with maintaining the pharmacy system and technologies that facilitate conveyance, packaging, and shipping of prescriptions; escalate technical and workflow issues as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain uptime of automated counting, collating, packaging, and sorting devices through basic troubleshooting of routine errors.
  • Assist with replenishment of supplies and cleaning of workstations.
  • Create and maintain documentation as requested.
  • Assist Inventory Technicians as requested and participate in Inventory Audits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, concurrent with all applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Required: Pharmacy Assistant License in Washington.
  • High School Diploma/GED and at least 2 years of experience in a retail or fulfillment center environment.
  • Ability to preserve confidentiality of patient information.
  • Preferred: Previous experience with inventory management systems, scanning equipment, conveyor lines, or robotic systems.
  • Technical Experience: Central Fulfillment Pharmacy experience; prefers a closed-door environment (no adjudication, customer interaction, or phone work).
  • Good computer and math skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Willing and able to stand/walk at least 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Able to perform tasks including pushing, pulling, grasping, bending, stooping, rotating, reaching, and lifting/carrying up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Visual focus such as counting and observing is required consistently.
  • Performing repetitive tasks up to 100% of the time.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a typical 40-hour workweek and occasional overtime. Shifts are Sunday through Thursday, either 1st shift (6:30 AM to 3:00 PM) or 2nd shift (2:30 PM to 11:00 PM).
