About the Role
As the Fulfillment Specialist, you will maintain inventory and complete orders in the fulfillment center. You will execute the pick and pack process through completion while ensuring accuracy and quality are not compromised.
Schedule
Desired hours for this role are Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.
Responsibilities
- Pick and pull orders as assigned
- Perform various hand work, such as assembling gift boxes, folder presentations, and stuffing envelopes
- Read work orders and review for accuracy
- Identify and pick necessary items for job completion
- Assist with the packing and shipping process for jobs throughout the shop
- Input and track orders, updating jobs in the ERP system
- Communicate with supervisors and peers to receive feedback
- Help establish standard processes, policies, and procedures for fulfillment
- Occasionally transport goods to and from our two locations
- Work on job assignments in other departments as instructed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent math and problem-solving ability
- No prior experience or training required; previous fulfillment experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret important documents, especially work orders
- Effective communication with co-workers and managers
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using 10s, 50s, and 100s, and determine percentages
- Apply mathematical operations to weighing items and using a scale
- Apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
- Handle problems involving several variables, including deadlines, judgment calls, and inconsistent information
- Basic understanding of computers and data entry
- Ability to pass a background check
- Stand for prolonged periods of time—up to 8 hours or more per day
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Manual dexterity and vision abilities, including seeing clearly at 20 inches or less, distinguishing colors, and adjusting focus

Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand for extended periods and use hands to handle letters, envelopes, and packages
- Regularly required to reach with hands and arms
- Must converse with co-workers and managers while working
- Regularly required to walk, stoop, and bend over
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Work in close proximity to moving mechanical parts and other employees
- Moderate noise level in the work environment, including light machinery, printers, and employee conversations
