Job Description

Aalto Pharmacists work cross-functionally across operations, engineering, and design teams to build a better, more intuitive community pharmacy from the ground up. We focus on challenges that patients, providers, and payers face, and find solutions that optimize experience, transparency, and health outcomes. We're looking for a Production Pharmacist with an entrepreneurial and productivity driven spirit who wants to help shape the future of the industry. Work with a team in a dynamic environment where you will need to make decisions quickly while focusing on our success metrics. Accelerate Your Career as You You’ll provide comprehensive and accurate clinical utilization review and dispensing services. This includes: Review content and accuracy of drug packaging and labeling Review for completeness and accuracy of new and refill prescriptions Assist in the proper ordering, handling, receiving, documentation, storage and inventory management of all controlled substances

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience in Kaizen and 5S principles and implementation
  • Have 1-2+ years working in a community pharmacy

Requirement

  • Currently licensed and in good standing by the Board of Pharmacy

  • Physical requirements for this role include the ability to work at a computer terminal with monitor, keyboard and mouse for extended periods of time, frequently move around the pharmacy away from the computer terminal, stoop, bend, and reach for equipment and supplies, make frequent repetitive motions required to operate a computer and other pharmacy equipment that include the wrists, hands and fingers, and lift, carry, push, pull, and move objects up to 50 pounds. The role also requires the ability to effectively communicate through verbal interactions, discern auditory information, and visually perceive details to perform essential job functions.

  • Benefits As a part-time, as-needed employee of the company, you are eligible for all legally mandated benefits, including, but not limited to, paid sick time, workers’ compensation insurance and unemployment insurance. The benefits team will review hours worked twice a year (early June and early December). If you meet the hours requirements, you may be eligible to participate in Aalto’s medical, dental and vision insurance for at least six months. Please note that the Company may modify any of its offered benefits at any time, with or without notice to you, except as required by law.
