Specialty Fulfillment Pharmacist- PRN

Responsibilities

• Provides drug information to patients and healthcare providers
• Oversight of the fulfillment team to ensure complete and timely receipt of medications
• Counseling and compliance with drug therapy
• Maintaining inventory and all logs
• Ensuring proper procedure is followed in the shipment and delivery of medications

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy preferred, Doctor Of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred
• Experience: 2 years’ experience as a Pharmacist preferred, experience in specialty pharmacy preferred
• Skills: Computer skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, proficiency with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role, keyboard skills, strong interpersonal skills, strong Excel skills

Qualifications

• Licenses: License to practice Pharmacy in the State of Louisiana preferred, Multi-state Licensure required
• Knowledge: Computer skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, proficiency with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role, keyboard skills, strong interpersonal skills, strong Excel skills
