About the role
The Pharmacist will provide the highest quality of care, reliability, and support to patients, caregivers, and families through dispensing medications, clinical advice, and delivery services.
Responsibilities
- Provides clinical consultations to patients as well as recommendations to nurses, physicians, and other hospice personnel
- Evaluates medication profiles, compliance, and modifications to achieve desired therapeutic outcomes
- Answers customer questions and resolves customer issues in a timely manner
- Retrieves data in the pharmacy system
- Manages medication orders
- Ensures proper storage and security conditions for medications
- Maintains a productive, orderly, and error-free work environment
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy Degree or Bachelor of Science Pharmacy Degree
- Current and good standing Pharmacist License
- Strong communication skills, customer service, and problem-solving skills
