Responsibilities
- Ensure all order discrepancies are recorded in the 3-way match log by end of business the day of delivery.
- Perform daily routing of vehicles to various customer and company locations while maintaining compliance with DOT rules and regulations and achieving high customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with Production, Inventory, and Sales Departments to meet objectives and address service-related issues.
- Manage daily activities related to warehousing, inventory control, shipping, and receiving.
- Ensure company Delivery Drivers operate in compliance with all Federal, State, Local, and company regulations and procedures.
- Monitor and maintain fulfillment process schedule to meet delivery schedule goals.
- Plan and schedule maintenance of all Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and Delivery Vehicles.
- Aid in completing medical cannabis waste profiles, manifests, and shipping documents, and maintain waste processing records.
- Conduct weekly finished product inventory audits and report results to the Logistics Manager.
- Coordinate operations and activities within or between departments by conferencing with Lead's, Production Supervisors, and Department Managers.
- Must understand and maintain compliance with all state laws and/or regulations affecting GTI operations.
- Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP and HACCP guidelines, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure product quality is maintained. Report any adverse conditions or practices to management.
- Train employees on packaging final products according to GTI specifications, identifying quality issues, achieving production rates, performing essential METRC functions, and completing vault and flower inventories.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in a production environment, 2+ years in supervisory experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required; BS/BA preferred.
- Experience in directing and evaluating hourly employees.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative, and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgment, common sense, and resourcefulness.
- Adapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environment.
- Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge in Continuous Improvement, such as Kaizen, Gemba Walks.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all employees and customers.
- Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of GTI.
