Fuel Technician

Responsibilities

• Safety First - Must follow all OSHA and FMSCA Rules and Regulations
• Record daily gallons transferred per Hazmat requirements
• Maintain the company fuel truck and operate it in a safe manner
• Communicate any equipment maintenance issues to your supervisor in a timely manner
• Cleanliness and control when transferring fuel to and from the fuel truck
• Fuel all equipment on site according to jobsite schedule
• Safely access equipment in all climate conditions

Qualifications

• Self-motivated
• Able to climb in, on and around equipment, be flexible in awkward positions
• Able to communicate well with operations and meet their needs for fueling
• Possess the ability to read and understand Equipment Maintenance Manuals
• Responsible, reliable and willing to work in all weather conditions
• Excellent communication skills, good work ethic and a positive attitude
• Able to work any shift
• Need to have a clean driving record with congested traffic experience

Experience/Skills

• Technical experience preferred, training available
• Mechanical knowledge a plus
• CDL License Class B with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement REQUIRED

Pay

$42-$44 an hour
